‘Wheatpasted’ that is.  Wheatpaste, also known at Marxist glue, is a liquid adhesive made from vegetable starch and water, similar to wall paper paste.  It is used as an adhesive for crafts, and in this case, for a fabulous guerrilla marketing artist trend popping up in all the alleys of Vancouver, Canada.  Vancouver-based artist and blogger Kat Thorsen and her team is behind the Vancouver wheatpasting craze.  Why?  As Kat says herself, ‘WHY NOT?’.  All of the pastes put up by Kat are original images.  Keep your eye opened Vancouver.  The ‘pasted’ are showing up everywhere, some of them of people you may know! -TSL
