What’s your secret dream job?

To be a combination of Anna Wintour and Jay-Z by the time I’m 40.

Which famous person (alive or dead) do you turn to for inspiration?

Billy Joel. He acts as an inspiration for both fashion and music – his lyricism, his style and overall presence are a constant push and factor in any work that I do. I always connect with his work in such a stronger way than I do with anything else. As cheesy as it is – his music is the answer to most of the issues I face.

You got your passion, you got your pride. But don’t you know that only fools are satisfied? Dream on but don’t imagine they’ll all come true, when will you realize? Vienna waits for you.”

If you could fly anywhere, where would you go this weekend and who would you bring with you?

I would fly to Paris, and take my best friend Kaycee. I would then take her to Versailles (one of my favorite places in the entire world) and have us pretend as though we were royals for the day.

At what restaurant did you last eat your favorite meal?

I love breakfast and most recently enjoyed an amazing eggs Benedict house special at Red Wagon.

Where is your favorite place to unwind and have an early evening cocktail? Lately, I’ve been going to the Queen’s Republic. They’re rebranding has added so much more to the space and I love having the option of grabbing a drink with food, or playing some pool and if I plan to stick around I can dance the night away later. What could be better?

What’s your favorite thing to do that you can only do in Vancouver?

I love going to Stanley Park, walking around for hours and losing track of time. I’m always on the move and I find that it’s the only place that I can really allow myself to let go and unwind.

What’s the one item in your closet you could never live without?

I couldn’t live without my leather jacket from Top Shop that I purchased this past fall. I have worn that jacket with almost everything in my closet. It’s hard for me to find jackets with a good fit – and this jacket fits like a glove.

What do you ALWAYS have to bring with you when you travel?

My small yet treasured collection of lipsticks. Even when my wardrobe is minimal, a swipe of the deepest burgundy, the richest red or the most vibrant of pinks can transform my overall look and mood. They’re small to pack too, which means that I can take them all and not have to worry about limiting myself.
