The Hudson’s Bay has been going through a lot of transition over the last few years. From the changing their name from The Hudson’s Bay Co to their new moniker Hudson’s Bay, to their reinvention of “The Room”. If you are unfamiliar with it, “The Room” is a section of Hudson’s Bay that houses some of the most iconic and most coveted luxury labels.
For their advertising campaigns for The Room, they have been using top Canadian models from the beginning. Previous campaigns have featured Daria, Coco Rocha, Alana Zimmer, Anaïs Pouliot, Meghan Collison and Grace Mahary. For their SS15 campaign Linda will be featured in designs from 11 designers carried at The Room, including Erdem, Junya Watanabe and Moschino.
“Bringing Linda Evangelista and Hudson’s Bay, two Canadian icons together, was a perfect fit,” said Michael Crotty, EVP, Chief Marketing Officer, Hudson’s Bay. “Linda Evangelista rose to super stardom throughout the eighties and nineties and has cemented her place on the fashion stage proving that longevity is vital, appealing and sought after.”
The full campaign is set to be released this February.
