Joie FW14 was about “a moody girl on a Saturday afternoon in Paris,”, according to Creative Director of Joie, Serge Azria. The maxi coats were especially luxurious in fall staple colours like rich camel and ash grey. The Joie girl has always had a certain “je ne se qua” about her, she’s young and flirtatious with a exuberant love of life. The jewel tone outerwear were definitely the stand out pieces of this collection, from a flirty capes in ruby and emerald to a sapphire blue pea coat. Oversized cable knit and turtle neck sweaters were paired with accordion pleated skirts and stockings for a very parisian take on winter attire.  There was a very well heeled crowd in attendance including Chriselle Lim of Chriselle who we ran into literally at every show this week.

Also to note that the table of pastries and french delights were nearly as delicious as the collection.
