It was really nice to disconnect for a few days over the holidays. For me it was partially because I was quite ill over the holidays, but also in an attempt to enjoy them through my own eyes and not the screen on my iPhone. Leading up to Christmas there were a ton of fabulous events happening in the city. One of my favourites was a media preview of handbags by L.A designer¬†Onna Ehrlich. The event was held in the Presidential Suite of the opulent Fairmont Pacific Rim with a select group of media and tastemakers in attendance. The following day I grabbed breakfast with Onna and took her to Secret Location to try their Cronuts, because you cannot leave Vancouver without trying them. The following morning I met Onna to say goodbye and was graciously gifted the Studded Bianca Clutch that I had been coveting and obsessing over since the media preview. Made with Cowhide leather and studded by hand with gold hardware in LA, it’s the perfect everyday clutch and my new “go to” bag when running errands in the city.

Lyndi and I in the days leading up to Christmas, took a day to finish our holiday shopping, in style of coarse. We popped down Alberni st, which is becoming Vancouver’s own “Luxury Row” boasting some of the hautest boutiques like Hermes, Blurbird Tory Burch and Tiffany & Co. Lyndi and I have been enamoured with the holiday transformation at Tiffany & Co, the cityscape decals along the storefront are gorgeous and it seemed to be such a fitting backdrop for a impromptu shoot.

This young LA designer’s star is definitely on the rise, and her bags have been seen hanging on the arms of MANY A-List celebrities recently. From Cameron Diaz and Halle Barry to Mila Kunis and LiLo, Onna Ehrlichs bags seem to be everywhere now.
