Atelier 3 in Yaletown inspires us with a taste of Soho New York

Yaletown in Vancouver has just elevated their style factor thanks to the new Atelier 3 storefront. The new boutique stunned everyone at the media opening with a wall of flowers. Yep, just like it sounds, wall to wall flowers. The space was all white with the feel of a Soho boutique store in New York. I was instantly taken back to the Dior couture fashion show where the setting was filled with walls of flowers.
“Our team spent months planning for this and shipping flowers in from abroad. Each staff member took a section and literally put it together in pieces. I actually think we thought of this before Dior since it was a long time coming”, says co-founder Anthony Lewis.
As I chatted with Lewis more extensively, I realized that each item in the boutique has been curated to fit into your existing wardrobe for. Everyone from the owners to the stylists are thinking forward in way that will create the most amount of versatility for their client.
The store will carry some of my favourite designers such as Thakoon, Yigal Azrouel and Jill Stuart. If you decide to head on down to the boutique, you may even run into Charlotte who is Lewis’ 2 year old frenchie (her instagram is @YaletownHarlot) and always dressed in style.
She may not have stole the show (come on we’re talking designer clothes here) but she certainly stole my heart.
