After much wait and anticipation the Joseph Altuzarra for Target collection is set to launch on September 14th. Target’s designer collaborations have been a great addition to their product offering, after successful launches with Prabal Gurung, and most recently Peter Pilotto. The collection will be available at most Target stores and online, as well as an edited offering available at NET-A-PORTER.com. The offerings for Joseph Altuzarra for Target are wide in range, from beautiful dresses and tops emblazoned with blown up orchid prints, to tailored suiting ranging from classic black to red velvet. One of my favourite pieces is the trench coats, and his reinterpretation on the fall staple will surely be a best seller. Of the trenches I gravitate towards the military green one with black sleeves and slick peplum detail in the back, at a price point of $89.99, they are proving that a show stopping piece can be available without breaking the back.
Joseph Altuzarra has had major success with his own eponymous label, with a celebrity following including Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Bosworth, Cate Blanchett and Michelle Dockery to name a few. With this collaboration it will give Joseph the opportunity to have his clothing worn and loved by a larger audience, that may ahve till this point only been able to appreciate his aesthetic from afar.
The collection includes almost 50 items ranging in price from $17.99 to $89.99 for apparel and lingerie, and $29.99 to $79.99 for shoes and accessories.
